We are a team of instructors qualified and trained to a high standard as guided by the DVSA ready to teach.
Offering manual and automatic driving lessons and covering the following areas: Eastbourne, Polgate, Pevensey, and Hailsham.
We offer female and male instructors to meet the needs of each learner.
Here at HONK! we pride ourselves on offering quality manual driving lessons tailored to each learner and their individual needs providing a client centered approach.
We don't believe in old fashioned diaries so we are proud to offer a cutting edge app which allows each student to track their progress, payments, future lessons and reflections from each lesson detailing what they did that day.
We give a two hour lesson only (as we feel this gives the learner lots of practice time)
We don't allow car sharing ensuring each learner gets 100% of the instructor's attention and interaction in each of their lessons

My driver tip:
Always expect the worst in every driver!
When you anticipate the worst case scenario, you won't be put in a position where you may have to emergency stop or make a very last minute decision which could put you in danger. Be sure of the road user's intentions before you act.

Utilise street signs and floor markings.
Street signs and floor markings give you so much information on what speed you should be traveling, where you should position your vehicle and what's coming up on the road ahead. Take full advantage.

Planning ahead enables us to make a well informed decision.
When you are aware that you are nearing a junction, the most effective way of dealing with a forever evolving situation is to plan as early as possible. Checking your mirrors for safety, signalling to let people know what you are doing, positioning yourself in the correct lane or place, slow the vehicle down and keep looking, checking and assessing.
